The old website I used to run back in
2005/2006 to house my Tool collection, toolcollector.net, has
been re-launched as a sub-domain to nin-au.com, since it is such a
handy reference. It has been untouched since it was taken down:
http://www.toolcollector.nin-au.com.
I have neglected to update the site
lately, apart from the Ghosts I-IV additions, due to the sheer
amount that were coming through. Now that they have begun to die
down and only come in at a trickle, I have added some more sections
to the website (with the help of naut and others).
violent_n_delicious from Echoing The
Sound has put up a website devoted to Billy Howerdel's new solo
project. If you're a fan, be sure to head on over and check it out,
and register at the
discussion forums. Don't forget to locate the Danny Lohner
remixes of "Denial Waits" and "Sword"! Absolutely gorgeous remixes.
Hopefully some more will surface sooner rather than later.
naut recently took this photo of
nin-au written in snow, in Asahidake Onsen, Hokkaido, Japan. It
complements the previously-posted image of nin-au in sand rather
nicely. Maybe we'll make this a weekly or
monthly thing where we post different images of nin-au written on
different elements. Could be fun!
The
archives
continue to grow, and more are being added daily. View
this thread at Echoing The Sound or
this thread at nin-au for the most current updates regarding the
archival process.
Thus far, "Lonely
Tree" and "Trees In Water, V2" (unofficially named by
ishtmail at ETS) are the rarest Giclée prints we have seen.

jlyi.org | Just Like You Imagined: A NIN Photo Archive
Dan
from jlyi.org has
written in and made the following request. If you are able to help
him out at all, please do so!
"I definitely like the idea of having
the fans be involved with the site, which brings me to my next point
- I'm wanting to get people to send in banners (500 x 226) to
jlyi.org, and have them displayed on the top of the page, replacing
what I have there right now. Somehow, I'll figure out how to have
them rotate as the page gets refreshed. So, if you wouldn't mind
spreading the word on nin-au.com, that would be greatly
appreciated."
jlyi.org is a
growing, comprehensive NIN photo archive, and Dan's efforts should
most definitely be supported.
Additional sound check audio, along
with the live debut of "Capital G" and Trent being heckled during
"Hurt," resulting in him subsequently aborting the song, have been
added to the videos section. Access them via the links above (they open
in new windows).
Next update: AU interview archive
will be added + September 16 videos (including Trent's "Steal it!"
speech) from my other YouTube account.
Additionally, the
tour dates section has been updated with the most up-to-date
versions of set lists that I am currently aware of. They are far
from perfect/completely accurate at this stage, but it is currently
the best we can do. Please
contact me
if you can contribute any accurate amendments, including
sound checks!
Further postings
will be made (primarily pertaining to events directly affecting the
Australian Nine Inch Nails community) later down the track. The band
will be touring the USA and Canada later this year, and I don't
foresee a whole lot happening on our continent until after all that
takes place. However, I will be creating an "owner's list," similar
to what
nincollector did for the "Ultra Deluxe Edition" of Ghosts
I-IV, formally known and abbreviated as Halo Twenty Six LE.
It is currently listed in the menu above, and will be updated as
fans receive their packages after May 1.
